Foreigners who wish to work in Singapore must have a valid work pass before commencing work. Companies that plan to hire foreigners must ensure that employees have suitable work visas. Professionals
- Employment Passes (EP) – for professionals, managers and executives
- EntrePass– for foreign entrepreneurs who wish to start and operate a new business in Singapore
- Personalised Employment Passes– for high earning existing EP holders or overseas foreign professionals
- Training employment Passes – for foreign professionals who are undergoing practical training and are earning at least $3000 a month
Skilled and Semi-skilled Workers
- S Pass – for mid-level employees
- Work Permits – for semi-skilled foreign workers in the construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process or services sectors
- Work Permits – for foreign domestic workers and confinement nannies
